Description
So I played Tuntalm 's game from her interesting group Randombrains wich consists in having a random word and a painting related to that word.
the first and only word I got from the french generator was "attendre" (To Wait), and I realized, I already have a painting on that topic and I haven't post it yet... So yeah this is an old painting I made, one of my first acrylics (you can see i fucked up the hand and hair a little)
That painting was inspired by a picture of actress Penelope Cruz, and this amazing song of The Strokes - Vision of Division.
I don't know if the "waiting" is obvious, here I ment, waiting for a call, an answer, a text desperately.
But you can always interpret it how you want.

L'attente est en effet très bien illustrée, et j'aime beaucoup l'idée du téléphone. De plus, le regard vide rajoute une dimension pathétique à la scène : elle ne peut qu'attendre et se retrouve impuissante, accrochée à son téléphone.
Le bracelet pourrait bénéficier d'un peu plus d'ombres, mais tout le reste est plutôt très beau, techniquement parlant. Les mains sont un peu anguleuses mais l'effet rajoute une touche un peu hystérique à l'attente, comme si le personnage était crispé.
Le fond rouge est un peu trop "catchy" à mon gout, et un fond plus sombre aurait pu ajouter un peu de tragique, mais ce n'est que mon avis ^^
En tout cas, bien joué !
